John Murray started in real estate in 1982 with condominium projects including Northwest Marine condominium docks and Foster Boat Works condominiums, as well as some construction management.

John has been either the top producer or near the top for many years for Vacation Properties Network and now, with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Michigan Real Estate. John's career spans over 42 years with the same real estate company. John and Matthew have been selling in all aspects of real estate including Residential, Commercial, Waterfront, & Condominiums as well as recently developing a community on a local lake near Charlevoix.

John is an Associate Broker and Fine Homes Specialist as well as having obtained Ecertification for excellence in internet communications and Ecommerce. He also in the last few years has had his son join him forming the Murray Team.

John graduated from Charlevoix High School and Northwestern Michigan College, so he has local knowledge of this area that is important when buying and selling real estate. John is married to Barb and they have a son, Matthew, and a daughter, Mallory. John enjoys spending time with his kids, boating on the Great Lakes, golfing, fishing and hunting.
